He is one of the most respected guardians of Amazonian ancestral medicine. Born in Yarinacocha, Peru, into a lineage of Shipibo-Conibo healers, he chose a path of deep spiritual learning, spending years in plant dietas to receive the wisdom of the master plants. Known as a “healer’s healer,” he has devoted his life to preserving and sharing the sacred knowledge of his people.

Maestro has founded numerous healing centers across Peru, spoken at the United Nations, and advocated for indigenous healthcare and rights. He is an author, featured in films and documentaries, and a beloved father and grandfather. Through ceremony, song, and presence, he continues to bridge ancient wisdom with the modern world.
